Lift Station Technician

Job overview

The Lift Station Technician role is onsite and field-based in Jacksonville, FL. The stated base pay range is $23–$27 per hour. Wind River Environmental services and maintains non-hazardous liquid waste systems for business, residential, and municipal customers. The technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs sewage pump station equipment, including mechanical systems and electrical control panels. The work helps keep lift stations operating and includes responding to trouble alarms during normal working hours and after hours, as well as working in confined spaces.

What you'll do

• Maintain, replace, and repair lift station equipment
• troubleshoot malfunctions
• assist with installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of pump station equipment. Perform diagnostic tests and prepare reports
• maintain electrical control panels
• respond to trouble alarms during normal and after-hours periods
• work in confined spaces.
