The Systems Administrator role is onsite in Washington, DC, with an annual base salary range of $74,610–$87,045. ZGF Architects’ Technology team supports firm-wide initiatives and cross-office technology services across seven North American offices. The administrator maintains systems, infrastructure, and standards while supporting users and technology operations across the firm. The role contributes to reliable, secure systems and provides advanced assistance to Desktop Support, including backup and recovery, virtualization, cloud services, storage, and network support.

What you'll do

• Conduct technical research and development
• maintain firm-wide system standards and procedures
• monitor data center equipment and environment
• provide advanced Desktop Support assistance
• monitor Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, storage, virtualization, and server systems
• support backup and recovery, VMware and Azure virtualization, NAS and iSCSI storage, Microsoft 365 services, and LAN/WAN connectivity
• maintain a security-first approach
• provide after-hours and weekend on-call availability
• periodically travel to other offices as required.
