Dietary Aide

Job overview

Compensation is $10–$16 per hour. The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Mocksville, NC. The role supports the culinary team at Mocksville Senior Living and Memory Care by helping provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. The aide assists with meal preparation and service, kitchen sanitation, resident meal support, and food and supply inventory. The work helps ensure meals follow dietary plans and residents’ preferences while maintaining safe food handling practices.

What you'll do

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals according to dietary plans and special requests
• maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas
• wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
• assist residents with meal setup and service
• follow food storage, handling, and sanitation protocols
• receive and store food and supplies
• check inventory and notify the Dietary Manager of shortages
• support food preparation and meal service as directed.
