Wastewater System Technician

The Wastewater System Technician role is onsite in Newport, TN; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Operate and maintain the treatment plant and adjust valves
• inspect probes, pumps, filters, tanks, and controllers
• interpret operating conditions, meter readings, and test results
• maintain plant and discharge records
• collect weekly samples and conduct sampling in compliance with regulations
• test for heavy metals and pH
• monitor sludge levels and maintain process equipment
• assist with preventive and corrective maintenance
• perform housekeeping and record daily plant and water meter readings.
