Residential Counselor

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one support and supervision
• build nurturing professional relationships
• monitor client behavior, activities, and safety
• engage clients in activities such as hikes, equine therapy, surf therapy, and fitness groups
• help create a constructive therapeutic community
• facilitate psychoeducation groups and recreational activities
• perform crisis management and interventions as necessary
• document shift activities
• oversee meals and support life skills such as laundry, dishes, and making beds.
