The Senior Radio Frequency Engineer role is onsite in El Segundo, CA. Compensation is $140,000–$168,000 annually. CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. The engineer designs and develops RF circuits and systems through the product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support. The work contributes RF hardware and phased-array communications capabilities to the company’s aerospace products.

What you'll do

• Design RF circuits and systems, including board-level schematics and PCB layouts
• work on RF front ends, frequency converters and synthesizers, filters, beamformers, power dividers, and phased-array antennas
• define requirements and select parts
• perform analysis, simulations, and test design
• support manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit products
• present design reviews to customers and executives
• contribute to proposals.
