Diesel Mechanic

The Diesel Mechanic role is an onsite position located in Spencerville, IN. This role exists to ensure the safe and reliable operation of company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. The mechanic is responsible for performing daily inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and executing repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and suspension systems to maintain fleet readiness.

What you'll do

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
