Job overview

The Senior Solutions Consultant, Financial Services role is remote, with field work and travel of up to 50% to customer locations in the assigned region. Compensation is $140,000–$215,000 per year in base salary; sales roles may also be eligible for commission. The Solutions Consulting organization supports Appian’s customer acquisition and growth in AI-powered process automation. The consultant serves as a technical advisor to financial services customers, translating business and technical requirements into platform solutions. The role advances strategic sales opportunities through account strategy, customer workshops, solution design, technical validation, and feedback to product teams.

What you'll do

• Own technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns
• lead customer roadmap sessions, transformation workshops, and executive discussions
• scope, design, and deliver technical proofs of concept and value
• assess customer IT environments and integration needs
• lead technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and architecture discussions
• share customer requirements with Product Management
• mentor peers and contribute reusable assets.
