The Residential Support Specialist — THRIVE role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN. Pay is $16–$19 per hour. The position supports individuals served by Safe Response. The specialist provides direct support that promotes safety, daily living skills, social behavior, and client outcomes. The role contributes to consistent care through behavior-plan implementation, medication support, transportation, documentation, and collaboration with clients, families, and other staff.

What you'll do

• Respond to and manage crisis situations using prescribed verbal intervention techniques
• implement behavior management plans
• support daily living, self-help, and social skills
• supervise clients and help maintain a safe, healthy environment
• conduct recreational and life-enrichment activities
• transport residents
• follow physician orders for medication administration
• complete daily documentation, logs, and incident reports
• prepare meals or snacks
• participate in training and meetings
• collect data to support quality improvement and outcomes.
