What you'll do

• Under supervision, learn phone etiquette and patient scheduling
• use MEDENT EHR basics
• perform patient check-in and check-out
• manage patient flow and waiting areas
• handle front-desk tasks including faxing, copying, and filing
• learn medical terminology, psychiatric services, insurance billing and coding basics, HIPAA compliance, and patient privacy.
