What you'll do

• Recommend staff employment decisions to the director of operations
• oversee quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides
• organize care-center clinical operations
• review service requests and determine patient eligibility and suitability
• coordinate referrals and admissions with intake
• oversee scheduling, payor verification, and precertification
• review staff documentation and resolve missing, incomplete, or untimely records
• assist clinicians with patient goals, priorities, and plans of care
• evaluate patient needs and revise care plans with clinicians
• may provide direct patient care infrequently in emergencies
• participate in the on-call process
• assist with staff training
• investigate and resolve patient, family, and physician concerns.
