The Instructional Aide 1:1 is an onsite role based in Denver, CO, with compensation ranging from $22.50 to $26.00 per hour. This position supports the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, contributing to their mission of providing alternative education programs for students. The role exists to provide direct, individualized support and supervision to students in Grade 10, ensuring the successful implementation of their individualized education plans. By collaborating with classroom educators, the aide helps foster a supportive learning environment, tracks student progress, and assists with behavioral interventions to empower students to reach their full potential.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment
• implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions
• monitor students during classroom lessons
• track student progress and communicate with teachers
• manage student behavior
• mentor students in academic and social skills
• document student behaviors and performance
• assist with behavioral reports
• maintain student record confidentiality
• participate in accreditation activities
• attend school-wide and parent meetings.
