What you'll do

• Lead the accounting workstream from pre-close planning through closing, opening balance sheet audit, integration, and post-close transition
• document acquired-company systems and processes
• maintain books during transition
• perform or coordinate month-end close
• prepare opening balance sheets and closing statements
• track earnouts and post-closing adjustments
• support purchase accounting and audits
• map charts of accounts and master data
• coordinate data conversion and testing with IT
• transition accounting processes
• establish procedures and controls
• prepare acquisition-related reporting and reconciliations
• monitor progress, issues, and risks
• assist with related accounting and finance projects.
