The Senior Project Manager role is onsite in Moorefield, WV; telework is not available. Compensation for applicants outside Salisbury, MD is based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location; the posting’s $110,000–$170,000 annual range applies to Salisbury, MD applicants. The role reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives Office at Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust. The project manager leads complex, cross-functional initiatives across the bank, coordinating business, IT, Operations, and vendors. The role supports strategic priorities by managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, governance, and communication through project closeout.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• partner with stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria
• maintain project plans, dependencies, milestones, and risk registers
• manage risks, issues, and change control
• report project status and impacts to sponsors and leadership
• coordinate third-party vendors
• ensure PMO standards and governance compliance
• support portfolio planning and reporting
• mentor project managers and team members.

Why this role
