The Care Coordinator — Deaf Program, Saturday–Sunday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. role is an onsite, part-time position in Annapolis, MD, paying $18 per hour. The coordinator supports residents’ daily activities and recovery using the agency’s recovery-oriented approach, which emphasizes autonomy, respect, empathy, strengths, and self-determination. The role includes assistance with activities of daily living, medication monitoring, transportation, appointments, cleaning, and cooking, with clear communication in American Sign Language (ASL).

What you'll do

• Prompt residents to start their day and assist with daily activities
• monitor medication
• facilitate transportation
• assist with activities of daily living, appointments, cleaning, and cooking
• provide caregiving support
• and support individuals in recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use. Maintain professional communication with ASL clients, peers, and supervisors and follow agency policies and recovery-based practices.

Why this role

ASL fluency is required. A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in a human services field is preferred. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
