Forklift Driver, Shipping and Receiving — Day Shift

The Forklift Driver, Shipping and Receiving role is onsite in Hamtramck, MI, with shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Compensation is $18.00–$18.30 per hour. The role reports to the Plant Supervisor and supports the company’s production and shipping operations. The position moves production orders safely and efficiently to support quality, safety, and production goals. It also helps ensure loads, containers, paperwork, and storage meet work instructions and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate the designated forklift safely
• load and unload production orders with truck drivers
• inspect orders and containers and report quality concerns
• weigh orders and compare them with paperwork
• complete forms and production documentation
• prepare and store containers according to work instructions
• chock trailer wheels and follow loading limits
• report mechanical or safety issues.
