Maintenance and Custodial Technician — Production Equipment

Job overview

The Maintenance and Custodial Technician role is onsite in Sioux Falls, SD, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and pays $22–$28 per hour based on experience. Electronic Systems, Inc. provides electronic contract manufacturing services, and this role helps keep production equipment maintained and ready to support manufacturing. The technician performs preventative maintenance, cleaning, inspections, and equipment support to reduce downtime and improve reliability. Working with Production and Engineering, the role helps maintain equipment readiness and production efficiency so customer products can be completed and shipped on time.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and accessories
• maintain SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers
• vacuum loose components and debris
• assist with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment setup
• maintain ultrasonic cleaning systems and batch wash equipment
• replace filters and clean tanks
• identify potential equipment issues
• track and document maintenance
• operate floor maintenance equipment
• work with Production and Engineering to support equipment readiness and uptime.
