The CNC Machinist, Mill/Lathe role is onsite in Beech Grove, IN; compensation is $62,400–$66,560 per year. The position is recruited by NCW for a precision manufacturing partner supporting high-importance customers. The machinist sets up and operates CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts within tight tolerances. The role supports reliable production through measurement, inspection, documentation, machine maintenance, and adherence to safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• run production parts while maintaining tight tolerances
• make offsets and minor adjustments
• interpret blueprints and GD&T
• perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• complete work orders and inspection documentation
• perform daily preventative maintenance
• follow safety policies and PPE requirements.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of CNC setup-and-run experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Mastercam or CAM programming and experience with Doosan, Okuma, or similar machines are preferred.
