What you'll do

• Straighten, repair, or fabricate body components
• repair plastic, fiberglass, and metal parts
• remove and replace mechanical components as needed for bodywork
• align frame members and supports
• replace broken glass
• mix and apply paint using spray equipment
• prepare surfaces by sanding or blasting
• mask and paint machinery to standards
• polish and buff finishes
• handle hazardous materials and waste safely
• record material and equipment usage
• maintain an organized, safe work area.
