Environmental Services Technician I/II

Job overview

The Environmental Services Technician I/II role is onsite in Rapid City, SD. Compensation is $18.40–$22.88 per hour. The position provides environmental services throughout Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board buildings, including Oyate Health Center. The technician maintains clean and sanitary facilities, including patient-care areas, using prescribed cleaning and isolation procedures. The work supports safe, orderly spaces for patients, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Clean floors, stairways, clinics, exam rooms, waiting rooms, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned areas
• perform special cleaning in patient-care areas using antiseptic techniques
• operate carpet and floor-cleaning equipment
• replenish supplies
• handle waste, including infectious waste, and soiled linen according to procedures
• determine and follow required isolation cleaning procedures
• report repair needs
• maintain activity logs and cleaning supplies
• and work unsupervised.

Why this role
