The role helps deliver and adapt instruction, maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, monitor student progress, and communicate with families and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Deliver small-group and one-on-one lessons under the lead teacher's direction
• reinforce whole-group instruction
• prepare and adapt instructional materials
• support classroom routines and behavior plans
• supervise transitions, recess, lunch, and dismissal
• observe and record student progress and behavior
• provide accommodations and modifications for IEP/504 goals
• support English learners
• communicate routine student information
• assist with family conferences when requested
• follow safety and reporting procedures
• attend meetings, planning time, and required training.
