The Registered Nurse (RN), Eating Disorder role is onsite in Falls Church, VA, on a full-time day shift with rotating weekends. Pay is $37.66–$56.48 per hour. Dominion Hospital is a freestanding mental health facility serving Northern Virginia. The nurse coordinates and delivers individualized, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the interdisciplinary team. Through assessment, treatment, education, therapeutic engagement, and safety-focused interventions, the RN supports patient recovery and the hospital’s clinical outcomes.

What you'll do

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• administer medications and nursing interventions
• evaluate safety risks and initiate appropriate interventions
• develop and coordinate individualized care plans
• educate patients, families, and caregivers
• coordinate care and supervise assigned team members
• provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented psychiatric nursing care
• facilitate individual and group education
• use crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• communicate with the care team
• participate in quality improvement and professional development.
