The Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer role is fully remote. The listing location is Fairfax, VA. Compensation is $110,000–$130,000 per year. SOLID is a 100% employee-owned company supporting corporate operations and federal programs. This hands-on engineer designs, administers, secures, and improves Azure infrastructure while supporting federal cybersecurity authorization requirements. The role works with engineering, cybersecurity, government, and internal teams to deliver resilient cloud systems and maintain security controls and audit-ready documentation.

What you'll do

• Design and administer Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
• implement infrastructure as code and automation
• maintain cloud security controls
• support DoD RMF and ATO activities and documentation
• manage vulnerabilities and continuous monitoring evidence
• collaborate on CI/CD and secure cloud solutions
• communicate technical risks and recommendations.
