The Dog Daycare / Kennel Shift Leader role is onsite in Manassas, VA, and pays $14–$16 per hour, depending on experience. The role reports to the Daycare Supervisor and Daycare Manager. The shift leader coordinates daily care and shift responsibilities while supporting safe, orderly daycare and boarding operations. The role also helps maintain records, communicate animal health and behavior concerns, and train and guide daycare staff.

What you'll do

• Complete daycare attendant duties and oversee shift responsibilities
• ensure logs and records are completed
• prepare meals and administer medication to daycare and boarding dogs
• communicate and document health and behavior concerns
• conduct daycare and kennel evaluations using the stated questionnaire and scoring system
• maintain facility cleanliness
• assign and check opening and closing activities
• onboard and train staff
• provide feedback and support accountability.
