Job overview
The School-Based Mental Health Clinician role is onsite in Manistee, MI, primarily in an office setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.; additional hours may be required to meet client needs. Compensation is $63,296–$82,285 per year. Centra Wellness Network provides community mental health services in Manistee and Benzie Counties, including school-based behavioral health services for students. The clinician provides behavioral health interventions that support students’ social-emotional and academic progress. The role works with students, families, school staff, and community providers to assess needs, develop and implement treatment and prevention plans, document services, and coordinate appropriate supports.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement treatment and prevention plans
- provide direct mental health services and individual or small-group counseling within scope of practice
- administer behavioral health screening tools
- complete clinical documentation
- coordinate with students, families, teachers, school staff, and providers
- support crisis intervention
- participate in supervision, training, program monitoring, and data reporting
- make referrals as appropriate.
