This role supports the pediatric nursing team at First Step Nursing and Therapy Services PLLC. The role exists to provide one-on-one nursing care for a pediatric patient in the home setting. The nurse will assess the patient's condition, administer treatments, and provide support to the family.
What you'll do
- Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to the assigned patient.
- Assess the patient's condition and document observations.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Provide and manage G-tube, ventilator, and tracheostomy care.
- Monitor vital signs and perform ongoing nursing assessments.
- Communicate changes in condition to the nursing supervisor and/or physician.
- Educate and support family members and caregivers.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in Kantime.
