What you'll do

• Lead and direct Casualty Unit staff
• review claim files and diaries for investigation, documentation, and fair settlement practices
• set claim authority and approve settlements within authority
• monitor production and file quality
• implement and monitor procedures
• identify training needs
• support litigation handling and defense strategy
• manage assignments, performance objectives, appraisals, reports, payment approvals, customer inquiries, and Department of Insurance complaints.
