Community Engagement Intern — Spring 2027

Job overview

The Community Engagement Intern works in person at Zipline's Austin, TX office from January through April 2027. Pay is $30 per hour. Zipline's Community Engagement Team builds relationships with local officials, civic organizations, businesses, neighborhoods, and schools to explain the service's community impact. The intern supports outreach and engagement efforts by helping plan events, develop communications, respond to inquiries, research community needs, and track feedback and outcomes. The work helps strengthen local partnerships and public understanding of Zipline's logistics service.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, promoting, and executing community events, workshops, and virtual meetups
• support newsletters and social media content
• respond to community inquiries
• research community needs, trends, and engagement strategies
• track engagement metrics and compile reports
• and provide administrative support to the team. Frequent travel throughout Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, or Phoenix is required, with transportation not provided by the company.
