Local CDL Route Driver

The Local CDL Route Driver is an onsite position based in Boise, ID, with a starting pay of $25.00/hr. This role supports Hardin Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, in providing essential waste collection services to the local community. The primary purpose of this role is to safely operate automated garbage trucks to collect and transport solid waste to disposal sites. The driver works independently to complete assigned routes, perform vehicle maintenance, and ensure high standards of customer service while adhering to all safety and D.O.T. regulations.

What you'll do

• Safely operate automated garbage trucks on specified routes
• perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels
• load and unload waste bins
• operate hydraulic controls
• complete daily reports
• interact courteously with customers
• follow all safety policies.
