The Contracted Civilian Public Safety Role Player opportunity is onsite at the Southwestern Community College Public Safety Training Center in Franklin, NC. Compensation is $65 for a half-day training assignment or $130 for a full-day assignment. The role supports training for public safety students at the college’s training center. Role players present scripted parts in controlled training scenarios, giving students opportunities to practice and be evaluated against established safety and performance objectives. Assignments are scheduled as four- or eight-hour training evolutions based on contractor availability.

What you'll do

• Participate in scripted scenarios for public safety training
• follow scenario guidance and instructor/evaluator direction
• support student testing and evaluation against safety and performance objectives
• complete assigned training hours and related contracting, scheduling, and reporting procedures.
