Warehouse Team Lead — Receiving and Inventory Control

The Warehouse Team Lead role is onsite in Lockport, IL, with compensation of $23.43 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. S&S Activewear’s distribution center team handles receiving, inventory control, and product movement. The team lead supports the Receiving and Inventory Control manager or supervisor by guiding employees, reinforcing procedures and safety practices, and helping maintain accurate, productive distribution center operations. The role also assists with training and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Support leadership and collaborate on process improvements
• monitor receiving, stocking, staging, shipping, and customer orders
• operate department machinery as needed
• follow safety, quality, production, and efficiency KPIs
• report discrepancies and damaged or missing items
• conduct process audits
• train and monitor employees
• maintain distribution center organization and cleanliness
• follow SOPs and safety rules.

Why this role
