What you'll do

• Adapt classroom work and instructional materials to individualized learning plans
• administer developmental and subject-specific assessments
• provide assigned first aid and assistance to medically fragile children if a nurse is unavailable
• communicate student progress to parents or guardians
• assess progress toward academic, behavioral, motor, and communication goals
• collaborate with staff, families, and community resources
• instruct and monitor students
• participate in IEP, data team, PLC, and 504 meetings
• prepare records and other written materials.
