Access Control Technician

Job overview

The Access Control Technician role is based onsite in the Kansas City metro area and involves travel to commercial retail sites nationwide. Compensation is $30–$50 per hour. The field team installs and services security systems at commercial retail locations.

What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems
• run low-voltage and composite cable and perform conduit work and concrete drilling
• complete wiring and equipment installations
• test systems for function and code compliance
• coordinate with team leads and project managers
• document work in service systems.
