Production Operator – 3rd Shift

The Production Operator – 3rd Shift role is onsite in Freeport, IL. Pay is $21.50 per hour, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. The position supports a customer’s manufacturing production goals through wire drawing operations. The operator sets up and runs wire drawing machines, monitors product quality, records production data, performs safety and mechanical checks, and moves materials as needed to support safe and efficient production.

What you'll do

• Install and feed dies into wire drawing machines
• load and thread wire
• start, operate, monitor, and adjust machines
• secure roller dies and make production adjustments
• record production information
• inspect product quality and report non-conformances
• operate forklifts as needed
• perform daily safety and mechanical checks
• report equipment issues
• support production goals.
