The position keeps dishes, glassware, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and sanitary so the kitchen can serve guests and support food preparation. It also helps with food storage, organization, and preparation as directed by a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment
• dispose of garbage and recycling
• sweep and mop kitchen floors and walk-in refrigeration
• change dish-machine water as needed
• organize and store tableware
• assist with storage, organization, and rotation of delivered products
• maintain clean and sanitary workstations and equipment
• report equipment problems
• assist with banquet and a la carte food preparation as directed
• secure refrigeration and food products at kitchen closing.
