Heavy-Duty Service Technician

Job overview

The Heavy-Duty Service Technician role is onsite in Ballston Spa, NY. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour. The technician joins Mohawk Chevrolet’s automotive service operation, which supports vehicle safety, reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately to dealership and manufacturer standards
• diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs
• coordinate parts needs
• inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work
• communicate repair updates to Service Advisors
• document work and recommendations
• road-test vehicles when required
• participate in manufacturer training
• maintain tools and a clean shop
• and follow safety and regulatory requirements. The role may supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
