The technician prepares printed rolls for packaging and shipment while checking print quality and removing defects. Accurate machine settings, winding, packaging, and shipment entry help meet customer job-ticket requirements and production needs.

What you'll do

• Load printed and die-cut rolls onto editing equipment and wind them into smaller rolls
• inspect print quality and remove defects
• splice rolls
• set machine counts and wind positions according to job tickets
• package rolls
• enter UPS shipments
• maintain an organized work area and warehouse
• and occasionally drive a tow motor after training.
