Dental Surgical Assistant

The assistant supports the doctor and care team before, during, and after procedures, helping maintain patient comfort and safety while coordinating patient flow and documenting treatment.

What you'll do

• Prepare the operatory, equipment, and patients
• greet and escort patients
• record treatment information
• assist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating fluids, and taking photographs
• take radiographs as directed
• provide post-operative care as directed
• coordinate patient flow and maintain a clean work area.
