Maintenance Technician — Affordable Housing

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, at Chicago Avenue and Buri Manor. Pay is $26–$30 per hour. Aeon develops, owns, and manages affordable communities in the Twin Cities, and this position supports a 98-home community. The technician helps keep residents’ homes and shared spaces safe, functional, and well maintained through service-request repairs, preventive maintenance, apartment turnovers, and property upkeep. Working with the Property Manager, building technicians, vendors, and other team members, the role supports reliable building operations and a positive resident experience.

What you'll do

• Complete resident maintenance requests
• troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, HVAC equipment, locks, doors, and interior finishes
• perform preventive maintenance and document work
• prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• maintain common areas and grounds
• assist with trash removal, seasonal upkeep, inspections, and vendor access
• provide respectful service to residents and coworkers.
