Lead Technician — Industrial Engine Shop

The Lead Technician — Industrial Engine Shop role is onsite in Irving, TX. Compensation is $24.04–$46.16 per hour. HOLT CAT provides industrial engine and equipment services. The lead technician diagnoses and repairs industrial diesel and natural gas engines while supporting shop quality, customer service, and departmental goals. The role also provides task-oriented mentoring and training and may perform Service Supervisor duties during that person’s absence.

What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair industrial diesel or natural gas engines and related components
• troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• conduct quality-control inspections
• disassemble, assemble, rebuild, and maintain engines to manufacturer specifications
• plan and control repair costs
• complete parts orders
• mentor and train others
• maintain equipment and work areas
• follow safety policies
• work overtime as required.
