Research Assistant

The Research Assistant works onsite in North Chicago, IL. Compensation is $17–$22 per hour, depending on skills and qualifications. The role supports Dr. FabioRe’s laboratory in the Center for Cancer Cell Biology, Immunology and Infection, studying innate immunity and host-pathogen interaction.

What you'll do

• Maintain laboratory inventory, cleanliness, safety, and waste disposal
• prepare media, reagents, and buffers
• maintain mammalian cell cultures
• perform immunological and molecular assays
• keep experimental records
• assist with data analysis and visualization
• and support mouse colony management, routine procedures, and tissue and sample processing under approved protocols.
