Business Litigation Associate Attorney

The Business Litigation Associate Attorney role is hybrid after 90 days, with three office days and up to two remote days per week, in Sacramento, CA or San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $160,000–$210,000 per year. The firm represents businesses, business owners, individuals, emerging companies, and nonprofits in litigation and business matters. The attorney manages complex general litigation from pre-litigation strategy through trial and post-trial proceedings. The role contributes to client representation through legal research, drafting, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation in collaboration with experienced litigators.

What you'll do

• Manage litigation matters through pre-litigation strategy, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings
• draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• take and defend depositions
• prepare witnesses
• conduct legal research and strategic analysis
• appear at hearings, conferences, mediations, and arbitrations
• assist with trial preparation and coordinate with experts
• collaborate on case strategy and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.

Why this role
