Security Officer

The Security Officer role is onsite in Sloan, IA, with pay of $15.13–$20.80 per hour. The role supports security at Winnavegas Casino Resort and helps maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment for guests. The position exists to protect casino property and support guest and associate safety by patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and following casino procedures and applicable gaming rules.

What you'll do

• Patrol and secure casino property
• maintain assigned posts according to the daily rotation
• complete incident reports
• respond to emergencies and report safety hazards
• cooperate with tribal and local law enforcement as required
• assist guests and associates
• maintain required TIPS, First Aid, CPR, and fire extinguisher training and certifications.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to obtain a gaming license and complete a 40-hour security orientation; security experience is preferred. The role requires standing or walking for up to eight hours per shift and lifting at least 50 pounds.
