The Preschool Assistant Teacher works onsite in Kailua, HI, earning $20.29–$21.20 per hour. The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing classroom and meeting children’s emotional and developmental needs through activities, classroom care, and communication with families and staff.

What you'll do

• Work with individual children or small groups
• assist with planning and delivering educational activities
• help assess and document student progress and behavior
• support meals and nap time
• monitor behavior and apply school policies
• communicate with students, teachers, and parents
• maintain classroom cleanliness, supplies, and organization
• follow licensing, accreditation, and confidentiality requirements.
