The Teacher / Teacher Associate — Early Childhood role is onsite in Bridgewater, VT. Pay is $22–$30 per hour. Bridgewater Community Childcare is a Reggio-inspired, nature- and play-based licensed childcare center. The teacher develops and implements age-appropriate learning activities, supports children’s development, and maintains a safe, welcoming classroom. The role also communicates with families and follows center policies and Vermont childcare regulations.

What you'll do

• Develop, coordinate, and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum based on early learning standards
• communicate with parents through discussions, reports, observations, and conferences
• foster a welcoming classroom
• maintain hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security
• maintain records
• complete classroom opening and closing duties
• communicate with the program director and parents
• follow center policies and state regulations
• attend staff meetings.
