The RN supervises and coordinates nursing staff while providing total nursing care to residents. The role supports quality care through staff direction, appropriate care assignments, adherence to procedures, and accurate clinical records.

What you'll do

• Manage the assigned area to achieve and maintain quality care
• supervise the nursing unit, including scheduling and directing staff within the state practice act
• participate in nursing staff recruitment, retention, development, and continuing education programs
• assign care according to resident needs and staff qualifications
• ensure nursing personnel follow procedures and company policies
• maintain accurate nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
