CNC Lathe Machinist

The CNC Lathe Machinist role is onsite in Elk Grove, CA, with compensation of $30 per hour. NOMINAL MACHINING LLC is an ISO/AS9100-certified precision machine shop producing complex plastic and metal components for aerospace, semiconductor, and medical manufacturing industries. The role exists to produce precision parts that meet customer quality requirements and production deadlines. The machinist sets up and operates CNC lathes, interprets technical documents, inspects work in process, and collaborates with the team to maintain quality and efficient production.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes
• read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
• perform in-process inspections
• deburr parts and complete finishing work as needed
• install hardware and perform minor shop or machine maintenance
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
