The Avionics Hardware Engineer role is onsite in Torrance, CA, five days per week, with compensation of $150,000–$200,000 per year plus competitive equity. Castelion builds long-range hypersonic strike systems and develops flight hardware for defense programs. The engineer owns avionics hardware from requirements and architecture through design, bring-up, debugging, qualification, and vehicle integration. The work supports flight success and production readiness by delivering and verifying mixed-signal, high-speed circuit card assemblies in coordination with supply chain and engineering partners.

What you'll do

• Own circuit card assembly design lifecycle
• develop mixed-signal and high-speed boards
• select components and work with suppliers
• test and verify hardware against requirements
• iterate designs
• integrate qualified hardware into the vehicle and support production readiness.
