What you'll do
- Operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and building equipment
- perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, controls, and related systems
- inspect buildings and mechanical rooms
- monitor building automation systems and adjust operating parameters
- respond to HVAC emergencies, equipment failures, tenant requests, and after-hours calls as required
- maintain work orders and equipment records
- coordinate contractors and vendors
- support capital projects and system upgrades
- ensure safety and code compliance
- mentor junior technicians
- and recommend repairs, replacements, and efficiency improvements.
