Mechanic, School Bus Fleet

What you'll do

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance on the bus fleet
• repair buses, including major overhauls as needed
• make emergency service calls for stranded buses
• inspect and repair tires, rims, brakes, belts, and hoses
• perform safety inspections
• estimate job requirements
• maintain records
• order parts
• interpret technical manuals and schematics
• operate vehicles and drive a school bus with passengers if required.
